Winkler Park & Playground

Address: Stephens Crescent

Winkler Park, named for Joe Winkler, Hanna's first Town Constable, is 1.5 acres of parkland located in the heart of a large residential subdivision, developed in 1977.  The park can be accessed from Winkler Drive or Shacker Crescent and provides playground equipment and open spaces for play.

In 2015, Winkler Park was given an upgrade with the installation of new play equipment, replacement of the fence and minor repairs to the walking trail.  Benches in the park were given a facelift or removed and the Town was pleased to receive a new Commemorative Bench, courtesy of Bernice Lester of Hanna.
