Cactus Corridor Economic Development Corporation retained 13Ways Inc to complete a Strategic/Tactical plan as a result of the region’s transition away from coal. One of the things that came up in the many discussions that were held was for to Council to consider rebranding within the proposed plan. Council expressed interest and asked 13Ways to provide a proposal to Council to undertake the rebranding process.
The rebrand is one of the recommended steps in the Strategic/Tactical plan provided by 13Ways. The project was funded by a transfer from the Town of Hanna accumulated surplus.
The new Brand Guidelines were formally adopted on December 10, 2019 and go into effect immediately. It is anticiapted that most of the changes can be incorporated within 3 – 4 months depending on staff availability. Some items such as signage and vehicle decals will be replaced under existing operating budgets as funds permit.
