The Hanna Family and Marriage Program offers relationship and family counselling through Janice Fehr Counselling services.
The program is made possible through the cooperation of Hanna Family and Community Support Services and Hanna and District Agricultural Society. To help cover part of the counselling fee the Hanna Family and Marriage counselling program offers a subsidy for eligible people. Eligibility will be determined by your income, and will be assessed by the counsellor.
You do NOT have to be having marital difficulties, maybe you are experiencing difficulty communicating with your family or extended family. Marriage and Family Therapy can be very broad.
You do NOT have to be referred through a doctor or a mental health professional.
Janice was a long-time resident of Hanna before moving to Camrose in 2002 to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and sociology. Shortly after receiving her BA degree, Janice enrolled in a Master’s of Science Marriage and Family Therapy program through Loma Linda University Canadian campus in Lacombe. Janice is passionate about her work with couples and families and brings experience from The Edmonton Family Centre, Camrose Open Door Association, Children’s services, and Brigantia Place Women’s Shelter. Janice looks forward to working with families, couples, and individuals in the Hanna area.
