The Economic Development Committee hosted a community meeting of which approximately 150 participants undertook an analysis of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT analysis) of the community.  Participants were organized into working groups and asked to present a summary of their findings.
	A second community meeting was held in March 2003 to present the results to the community.  Along with the traditional methods of promotion, personal invitations were distributed to attendees of the first public meeting.
	Participants at this forum were given an opportunity to priortize the individual components of the strategic groupings and indicate their preferences as to the working group they would be interested in working with.
	As a result of this exercise, Hanna has 5 Economic Development Working Groups (Teams) with approximately 40-50 individuals now actively pursuing Community Development activities and initiatives within and for the Town of Hanna and surrounding areas.
	The Economic Development Committee proposed to the group of individuals that the organization and the process of achieving the goals be referred to as Team Hanna.
