 Methods of Payment  

The Town of Hanna offers a variety of payment methods for Property Taxes:

Monthly Property Tax Payment Plan:  offers a budget plan for both home and business owners.  An automatic debit will be made from a personal account on the last working day of each month.  When you are a participant in the payment plan, you are not required to to make an annual payment as your taxes are paid by monthly installments.  Your installments will be adjusted on an annual basis to reflect any tax changes for the current year.  There are no additional or service charges for this service.  You just need to fill out the prepayment authorization form found to the left on this page and return it with a void cheque to the Town Office.

Telephone/Internet Banking: with any financial institution that has made arrangements with the Town of Hanna.

Financial Institutions:  Tax payments are not accepted at the financial institutions at either the wicket or the Automated Banking Machine.  Utility Payments can be made at the wicket as well as at the Automated Banking Machine.

Drop Box Payments:  may be made at any time.  There is a drop box location at the Town Office.

Post-Dated Cheques:  on or before the due date indicated on the tax notice.
