Hanna Airport Terminal

The Alberta Government determined, in the 1970's that a provincial network of modern, efficient airports would greatly enhance the province's transportation system and meet the needs of a constantly growing economy.

By linking smaller communities with larger centres, airports are part of the provincial and national transportation networks.  This means goods move faster, benefiting Albertans in all fields, from the businessman awaiting delivery of merchandise to the farmer awaiting machinery repair parts.

Use primarily by private aircraft owners, the Hanna airport is capable of handling general aviation needs as well as light commercial air firms and charter operations.

In the early '80's an additional 13 acres of land were obtained allowing for an 800 foot runway extension, bringing it to the current standard of 3500 feet.  The terminal building is 2000 sq.ft.

The airport terminal can be rented for small gatherings or meetings.  There are approximately 8-10 tables and 30 chairs on site.  The terminal main floor can be rented for $30.00 per hour or $135.00 per day plus gst.
