Pickleball is fun and easy to play and is suitable for people of varied athletic abilities and ages. It can be played gently or with more energy as you become experienced.

Pickleball is a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis (ping pong). Its ping pong on steroids. The game was designed as a family sport for active people ages 9-99 and regardless of how well you play, if you are playing with 3 others of equal ability, you will have a good time. Two, three, or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to whiffle ball, over a net. The dimensions and layout are the same as a badminton court and the rules are similar to table tennis.

We have a group that join together and play here in Hanna in winter Centennial Place and summer outdoor hockey rink. Our club collects $10 from each person a year for buying pickle balls and supplies as needed. We have paddles for you to try so all you need is exercise clothes and court shoes.

*Let us know if another night works better as we can arrange for drop in if the facility is available.
